Nursing Educational Pathways

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife(ANM): This is a two year diploma course that focusing on basic nursing care, maternal and child health and family planning.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM): This is three and a half years diploma course, including six month of internship.It provides comprehensive training in nursing and midwifery. GNM Nurses play a vital role in the healthcare system.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing(B.Sc Nursing): This is Four year full time Degree programme comprising eight semesters. B.Sc nursing cover both theoretical and practical aspects of nursing. Neet is considered to be one of the major entrance exam for this degree programme (B.Sc Nursing).

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing(PB-B.Sc): This is two years undergraduate course for those who have completed the GNM course and want to upgrade their education.

Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc Nursing): This is two years post-graduate degree programme focusing on specialized area of nursing . For M.Sc nursing candidates must have passed B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc nursing with a minimum of 55% marks.

Ph.D in Nursing: This is doctorate degree programme which focusing on advanced research and academic careers in nursing.
